Pulsed Electromagnetic Field (PEMF) Therapy
The clinic's flagship treatment. PEMF therapy is a non-invasive, drug-free treatment that uses low-frequency electromagnetic pulses to stimulate cellular repair, reduce inflammation, and alleviate chronic pain. The therapy recharges cells like a battery — restoring cell metabolism, promoting healing, and energising the body.
Book as a standalone therapy or enjoy alongside complementary therapies, such as deep tissue massage, Lucia N°03 light therapy & more. If you have a therapy preference, please let us know on or before your scheduled session.

Yes. PEMF therapy is NHS-recognised and has been used clinically for decades, including in the management of bone healing, chronic pain, and inflammation. At The Pain Management Clinic, Ham Manor Golf Club, Angmering, we offer PEMF as a drug-free, non-invasive therapy that can complement your existing treatment plan or work effectively as a standalone treatment. If you have an existing medical condition, we always recommend consulting your GP before booking.
PEMF therapy may support recovery from chronic back pain, arthritis, fibromyalgia, osteoporosis, sciatica, sports injuries, and muscle tension. It has also been shown to help with depression, insomnia, poor circulation, high blood pressure, and general inflammation. Our practitioners at The Pain Management Clinic, Ham Manor Golf Club, will assess your individual needs and advise whether PEMF is appropriate for your condition.
This varies by individual and condition. Many clients report noticeable improvement after one to three sessions. Chronic conditions typically benefit from a course of six to ten sessions. Our practitioners will advise you following your initial consultation and assessment at The Pain Management Clinic in Angmering, West Sussex. Multi-session packages are available at reduced rates from £75 per session.
Most clients find PEMF therapy deeply relaxing. You lie fully clothed on the PEMF mat while low-frequency electromagnetic pulses gently pass through the body. Many people notice a mild warming sensation, a feeling of calm, or a gentle tingling. Sessions last one hour. After treatment, clients commonly report reduced pain, improved energy levels, and a sense of overall wellbeing.
PEMF therapy is safe, non-invasive, and well tolerated by the vast majority of people. It is not recommended for those with implanted electrical devices such as pacemakers or cochlear implants, during pregnancy, or for those with active bleeding conditions. Our practitioners at The Pain Management Clinic conduct a full health assessment before every session to ensure the therapy is appropriate for you.
